Spectra Credit Union’s COO Receives Miriam Lieb Emerging Leader Award

Kate Brennan, Spectra Credit Union’s Chief Operating Officer, was recently selected for the Miriam Lieb Emerging Leader Award presented by the MD|DC Credit Union Association (MDDCCUA). 

The award honors the legacy of Miriam Rivera Lieb, who was a credit union advocate and leader, by recognizing a credit union professional, 40 or under, who demonstrates leadership and shares Lieb’s dedication to the core principles of the movement. 

Brennan will receive a professional development package, sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group, that includes executive coaching sessions, a to visit CUNA and CUNA Mutual Group headquarters, lunch with MD|DC Credit Union Association President/CEO John Bratsakis, and much more!

The finalists in this year's competition were Mark Cruz at Tower Federal Credit Union and Kate Brennan at Spectra Credit Union.
