The spirit of giving shone brightly as Spectra Credit Union witnessed an outpouring of support during their 3rd Annual Array of Giving Drive. Array of Giving is Spectra’s holiday initiative to give back to the community through voluntary outreach and donation collections.
Food donations supported Capital Area Food Bank, and toy donations supported Charles County Children’s Aid Society and Y-Knot,Inc. Spectra collected community donations during November at each branch location, or the community could donate through an Amazon Wishlist designated for each organization.
In an inspiring collective endeavor, 210 pounds of food and 150 toys were donated, showcasing the compassion and unity that define our community spirit. These donated items were provided to each non-profit organization to be given to local families in need, ensuring that everyone could experience the joy and warmth of the holidays.
“I am grateful for the outpouring of support from our community during our annual Array of Giving Drive. What our community can do when we come together to help one another is remarkable. These charitable donations will bring joy to the lives of many during the holiday season and will undoubtedly make a lasting impact. The collective endeavor through our annual drive is a testament to unity through generosity,” says Kristin Shultz, CEO.
Spectra Credit Union continues to be committed to making a positive difference and impact in the lives of our community.
We walk the walks! We give the talks! We’re out and about in our community.
