As we approach Earth Day on April 22nd, we're excited to announce a special initiative to celebrate and contribute to our planet’s wellbeing. We’re organizing a grocery bag drive to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste in our community.
Plastic films (types 2 & 4) are extremely detrimental to the health of the environment. Because they decompose faster than many kinds of plastic, they actually seep harmful waste and chemicals into the environment much faster!
We'll work with a local non-profit to recycle collected bags and turn them into sleeping mats for people experiencing homelessness.
Bags can be dropped off at any of our branch locations through the end of the month!
